An On-Demand Scan checks your device immediately for malware and unwanted apps. Use it any time you want a fresh safety check.
What it scans
Memory & running apps — active processes that could hide threats.
System apps — core apps (read-only checks).
Autorun items — apps/services that start automatically.
Installed apps & files — including downloads and external storage (if present).
Run a scan
Open Trojan Scanner.
Tap Start.
If prompted, Allow files access so the app can scan downloads and storage.
You can keep using your phone; scanning runs in the background.
During the scan
A progress bar shows overall status and which area is being checked.
You can pause or stop if needed (results to that point are kept).
When results appear
For each detection you’ll see its name, location, and recommended action.
Actions you can take:
Remove — delete the threat from your device.
Quarantine — isolate the item so it can’t run (you can review or restore later).
Ignore — skip for now (not recommended unless you’re sure).
Quarantine items are harmless while isolated. You can set auto-cleanup in Settings → Quarantine: Remove files after.
View the report
Go to Reports to see a summary of the last scan and previous scans.
You can save or share a scan log with Support if they request it.
Tips & troubleshooting
Scan type: Use Quick daily; run Deep after installing many apps or if you suspect an issue.
Updates: Keep the threats list up to date (auto-update recommended).
No findings, still suspicious? Update definitions and run a Deep scan.
Storage/permissions errors: Ensure file access is allowed and you have free space.
Preinstalled or admin apps: Android may block removal—open App info to disable or revoke admin first.
