Yes. Gridinsoft Anti-Malware can run a recurring scan or a one-time scan at a date and time you choose.
Create a scan schedule
- Open Settings → Scheduled scan.
- Enable a recurring or one-time scan.
- Choose the scan type. Use a routine scan for regular checks and a Full scan after a suspected infection or when symptoms persist.
- For a recurring task, select the days and start time. For a one-time task, select the date and time.
- Save the schedule and confirm that it appears in the schedule summary.
Choose automatic actions carefully
Checking for Threat List updates before the scan is recommended. Automatic quarantine is safer than automatic deletion because an item can still be reviewed. Enable automatic restart or shutdown only when unsaved work will not be lost and disk encryption or company policy will not interrupt startup.
If the scheduled scan does not start
The PC must be on and awake at the scheduled time. Check the Windows date, time zone, sleep settings, and whether the app is allowed to start with Windows. Run the scan manually if a task was missed, then adjust the schedule to a time when the computer is normally available.
