Why can’t I enable the Internet Security option on Windows XP?

The Internet Security module isn’t available on Windows XP. It relies on a network filter driver that requires Windows 7 or later, so XP cannot load this component.

What you can do on XP

  • Use On-Run protection, System startup scan, scheduled scans, and Removable Device checks.

  • Keep other software up to date and avoid risky downloads/sites.

  • Consider a hardware router/firewall for basic network filtering.

For full functionality (including Internet Security), we recommend upgrading to a supported Windows version. If you have questions about your setup, please contact our Support Team.
