You can remove Gridinsoft Anti-Malware through Windows Settings or Control Panel. Before uninstalling, decide whether you need the current logs, quarantine contents, or license activation on another PC.
Before uninstalling
- If you are moving the license to another computer, deactivate it in the app first when possible.
- Export any logs requested by Support. Removing the app can make local diagnostic data unavailable.
- Do not restore quarantined objects merely to preserve them. A quarantined threat is safer left isolated.
- Plan replacement protection before removing the only active security product on the PC.
Uninstall through Windows Settings
- Close Gridinsoft Anti-Malware and save your work.
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps in Windows 11, or Settings → Apps → Apps & features in Windows 10.
- Find Gridinsoft Anti-Malware.
- Select Uninstall and confirm.
- Approve the Windows administrator prompt and complete the uninstaller.
- Restart Windows if requested.
Use Control Panel instead
- Open Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features.
- Select Gridinsoft Anti-Malware.
- Choose Uninstall and follow the prompts.
If the app is not listed
Open the installation folder and run the signed uninstaller, normally:
C:\Program Files\Gridinsoft Anti-Malware\unins000.exe
Do not download an uninstaller from an unofficial website.
If uninstall fails
- Restart Windows and try again from an administrator account.
- Temporarily close other security software if it is blocking the signed Gridinsoft uninstaller, then re-enable it immediately afterward.
- If files are missing or the uninstaller is damaged, install the current Gridinsoft Anti-Malware build over the existing copy and then uninstall again.
- Contact Support with the exact error and a screenshot if the problem continues.
Avoid registry-cleaning instructions and third-party removal utilities unless Support specifically recommends them for your case.
After removal
Confirm that the app no longer appears in Installed apps and restart the PC. Leftover exported logs can be deleted manually if you no longer need them. If you removed the product only to repair it, download the current installer from the official installation guide.
